PRESENTATION: 2019 Federal Election

The campaign, the results and what a minority government may likely mean for how parliament will function and the issues debated.

PRESENTER: Michael J. Prince, PhD

Our speaker, Michael J. Prince, PhD has been the Lansdowne Professor of Social Policy in the Faculty of Human & Social Development at the University of Victoria since 1987. Dr. Prince teaches courses in public policy and practice as well as activism and advocacy, and his current research interests include trends in Canadian social policy and federal-provincial relations.

He has written many books, articles in journals and newspapers and research papers. He has also appeared on TV & Radio commenting on the BC Elections in 2005 & 2013 and the Federal Election in 2006.

Dr. Prince was named Academic of the Year in 2014 by the Confederation of Faculty Associations of British Columbia.
