My wife and I spent two nights at the luxurious Beach Club Resort in Parksville in late April. This trip was an adjunct to an enjoyable evening performance at the Chemainus Playhouse the previous day.
The Beach Club Resort is a first class combination resort hotel and condominium property directly on the beach at the north end of Parksville. Accommodation options range from studio rooms to Penthouse suites. The rooms are beautifully appointed with West Coast décor. We had a beach view room with a magnificent view however many rooms do face the town side so it is important to request ocean view accommodation.
There is a beautiful indoor pool, complimentary underground parking, a fitness centre, hot tub, free wireless Internet and concierge service. The Pacific Prime Restaurant & Lounge has a beach front patio just off the Parksville Beach Boardwalk. The restaurant features West Coast style cuisine with an excellent BC wine selection by the glass or bottle.
We brought our bicycles with us and found delightful, quiet riding options in both the adjacent Qualicum Beach and Parksville area. Many golfing options are available in the area. Room rates vary by season and suite size but range from $160 to $360 .
